The HDK-79NA camera system is a high performance full digital camera for the various
applications, such as helicopter and POV camera system etc., in which our accumulated
HDTV camera technologies are completely harmonized. Using high-end compact and light
weight (only 0.95kgs) HDTV camera, the HDL-37E camera head as detached optical block,
it is ideally suited for the digital broadcast era to enable HDTV applications in every field
of broadcasting.

Using newly developed digital process ICs, the video signals are digitized with 10-bit A/D conversion and up to 28-bit internal digital processing circuit. As non-linear processing such as gamma correction is performed digitally, consistent and repetitive high picture quality and stable reliability is assured. A detail correction system, including digitally processed horizontal, vertical, and diagonal correction signal for red, green and blue video, is incorporated into the camera head, and obtains noise-free full resolution HDTV picture quality even if the camera is used in stand-alone configuration.High Picture Quality
